Mark Berry AMG Enters Multi-Year Agreement With Shami Media Home Entertainment
AMG Global Chief Mark S. Berry on Why He's Spending $$$ Making Movies This Year: 'We Believe in It'.
AMG Global Entertainment has entered a multi-year agreement with Shami Media Group's Home Entertainment division, with the distributor set to handle all marketing, sales and distribution services for Blu-ray, DVD, Electronic Sell-Through and TVOD platforms for the newly formed studio's theatrical releases, the companies announced Thursday.
AMG handles its own production, marketing and distribution of its theatrical projects, and recently announced it will release between 3 and 5 films starting in late 2015.

"Their philosophy of being platform agnostic and allowing for growth in new and emerging areas of delivery is very exciting. AMG's upcoming films include 2 James Brown projects, one being his last live performance shot in Anaheim, CA in 2006 just prior to his passing inter-cut with family and archival footage and a holographic imaging film of Mr. Brown's classic hits in collaboration with urban based superstars. Both are AMG productions.
AMG's most recent success was the international theatrical release of DRAKE Homecoming - The Lost Footage.
