Signs With Mark Berry's AMG Global for 360 Management Deal. AGR/Universal has announced Kevin Chase as the newest member of its legendary European country music roster. Acclaimed for his highly energetic shows, the New Brunswisk native hopes the second time around with AGR will be the charm. Kevin Chase is currently applying final strokes to his eagerly awaited album "Groove On", collaborating with co-producers Marc Gosselin and Jim Kuehnel. The collection is slated for release in January, 2015 and sure to secure Chase's place as one of the most exciting new artists of the year hailing the artist's creative intertwining of compelling music and strong visuals. The country rocker's 4th studio album, Groove On drops January 13th in a standard 13-track version as well as an 18-track deluxe version. Kevin Chase, you could say, is a guy who, at this point in his career, is able to stretch out a bit creatively, explore new sonic territories and listen less to the suits and more to his soul. And for him, that freedom to explore is represented across his latest album "Groove On". Even the title itself significant. "To me, [it's] all about that time where you stop doing what you have to do," he said in a recent press statement, "and start doing what you want to do." "This album is very encompassing of everything that I've done in my career," Chase said in a press release "You can certainly hear parts of my career throughout all of these songs, as well as the future and where my music is headed. "If I look at it in a visual sense, it represents a great landscape," Chase told Radio.com. "There are so many different colors, and so many different textures to this record." Chase's current single is "Whole Lotta Honey," a midtempo song with a cool, confident melody that feels tailor-made for a road-trip mixtape. "This is one of those songs that really paints a picture and sets a mood," AMG Chariman Mark Berry said about "Whole Lotta Honey". "In my mind, you look over and see the person that you love next to you sitting in the front seat, and you think, 'How good do I have it? Life is perfect.' There is a certain warmth to Kevin's songs and several others like it" on the album.
